Sproat Beach Cleanup 2020

WEATHER PERMITTING.
Sproat Lake Community Association is calling for VOLUNTEERS to help clean up targeted crown land beaches along Stirling
Arm, Two Rivers Arm and Taylor Arm.
Please remember to bring your work/rubber gloves, shovels or rakes, tools appropriate clothing and shoes. SLCA and the Fish
and Duck Resort will provide Garbage bags, Maps, Water and a Hot Lunch. Start time is at 9:30 am heading down Two Rivers
Arm to assist and transfer the garbage to trucks for transport to the AV Landfill and Recycling. Please call 250-724-5040 or
250-730-0272 or email coteart@shaw.ca for more info or if you want to volunteer but need to arrange for boat transportation.
Garbage bags will be available aboard the Fish and Duck houseboats. Kindly pre-register so the SLCA is aware of who and
where volunteers are cleaning beaches.

Restrictions apply for 6 feet distancing, and wearing a mask if in contact with anyone outside your bubble.
Don’t forget to put away your toys and remove debris from your beaches before the high water comes. Clean water is everyone’s responsibility.
