Annual “Clean Beaches, Clean Water 2019”

Sproat Lake Community Association (SLCA) is calling on VOLUNTEERS to help clean up beaches around Sproat Lake.  Beaches to be cleaned are; Stirling Arm, Two Rivers and Taylor Arm on crown land shores.

Please remember to wear weather appropriate clothing and foot wear.  Bring your work/rubber gloves, shovels or rakes, etc.

SLCA will provide Garbage Bags, Maps, Water and a BBQ Lunch.

Rendezvous time is Oct. 6th at 9:30 am at the Fish & Duck on Faber Rd.  For those requiring transportation or for those out on the water meet near Vanderbilt Island around 10 am.

The pile driver will be available to transfer the debris collected from the beaches into trucks.  The garbage will then be taken to the AV Landfill and recycling depot.

A houseboat will accommodate volunteers for lunch.
